I'm Female.
 
"BLADERUNNER CITY ,  The Off-World Colonies, an ART INSTALLATION "  (a work in progress ) :   conceived by BladeRunnerSPN1977 Sands and Blackmamba Sands, ( rl artists ) an attempt to build a 3D graphic representation of the passing from civilization state 0 to civilization state 1, on the virtual platform Second Life.
 Incorporating some of the best alien-tech /  sci-fi / cyberpunk / dystopian / post apoc style builds by SL's best and most innovative  content  creators.
Viewed as a tryptich suspended in space, and spread across two sims, The OffWorld Colonies comprise several levels suggesting a vision of the future.
Inspired on the underlying concepts, philosophy and ideas raised in the movie "Blade Runner",  and seeking to focus on the burning questions :  who are we -  why are we here  -   where are we going

Blade Runner City is surely one of the most interesting and beautiful places in sl - and i´ve seen already many since 2007! Thank you Mamba for the many favs and friendly comments, i feel honoured! : ))

Yuppie, Blackmamba! I enjoyed your fun-tastic "Cyber Photo Contest" grand opening yesterday in Bladerunner City! Meeting Koinuppers is a pleasure, for sure! A perfect cyber location surrounded by superb cyber-art, spiced with excellent music by Blackmamba ( do you know her? Oh, she's very talented, trust me! =) )... Could you imagine something better? Well I can: just add some Koinuppers and you can figure out the fun! Thank you so much for your invitation! ^_^

   many thanks for your kind words Baroque, but i cannot take credit for all the building...apart from the builds by other sl content creators that we showcase by including them in the city, a large portion of the credit goes to my partner Blade, who has built the 2nd sim, BRC 2, almost entirely on his own. The challenge with a 3D art installation like this one, is to tie all the various building styles together, with the help of ambient sounds, the right choice of textures, shapes etc, into a coherent immersive whole experience. trying to anyway...
