You know those railroad tracks I was following? Well, it turns out that they're not just scenery. The railroad line is actually used by this here. The train does work, too. Well, sometimes it'll go off the track, but the engineer is able to get it back on the line without too much trouble. The guy inside is Beetlejuice, or at least looks like Beetlejuice.
I would recommend taking the train. It goes across dozens of sims, and the scenery is pretty nice if things load fast enough. The engineer is friendly, too. Just make sure that if you ride it, you're sitting down. Stand up, and you'll fall out.
The SLurl below leads to a station midway along the line. Figure you have the best chance of the train coming if you waited there. You could also follow the line in whichever direction you want, and if he comes across you, he'll pick you up on the spot. Also at this station is a map showing where the train goes. According to the map, there's a fairly large gap along the line. The train makes it across this gap by hopping onto what seems to be the Great Wall of China.
