how do you make the picture not all grainy when you take it from sims?what photoshop do you use

Hi Lev :) Hmm the pic is from Second Life, I dont play Sims :/ And its not Photoshoped, just turned into black and white with irfanview. For blogpics I use Paint Shop Pro, but its mainly just for the backgrounds.
