Very, very nice idea! Looks like that door ptotects something very interesting behind! What if we... This picture attracts imagination and gives a sense of suspension: it lets you imagine an action you'd like to perform but you just cannot fulfill that impulse... Very suggestive!

thanks a lot for the comment, LookatmyBack. I loved the contrast between the dark wall and the red door (the one spot that draws they eye) and the pattern of the fire escape. but yes, you can't help wondering just where that door leads. perhaps i will go back and find out.
