There are two "skboards" in SL I've found so far. This one, and the other in one of my other gallery pics. THIS one puts you into this soar pose, and your fall is pretty aggressive. I could soar from end to end on the sim, and back, several times in a dive. The smoke trail is handy for others to see where you've been.
Oh, and this board is "skinable", meaning I can add my own graphics to it. The other, not yet. But, hey, it's all good.
