I got a phone call last night nobody should ever get. One of my best freinds is in the hospital. Swann was found in his room, unconcious. Details are sketchy, but first report was they didn't know if he'd survive the night. He did. As it stands now, he's in a medically induced coma and they're pretty sure he'll survive now. But no telling what may happen when they wake him up.
It's been asked to prey for him. I'm not much of a prayer person, I'm a little fatalistic when it comes to that. But what I can do is raise some awareness here and now. Burn a virtual candle in the hopes that the odds favor a full recovery, even when I know the odds are stacked against him.
But I do want to say this. If you haven't, do something today that normally you'd put off or just let it slide. Go hug someone, or do that project or make something that will last. Life is both fragile and strong. In a moment, it can be gone but if given a chance it survives and thrives. You never know when your ride ends, best to do something now that you've been meaning to do for a long time.
I hope you can recover, my friend. He's got fight, I just hope it's enough.
