The bell of the Gion Shoja sound like....
This is the opening sentence of "Heike Monogatari (The Tale of the Heike)", one of the famous Japanese works. Its theme based on the Buddhist concept that "Shogyou-mujou", it means "all is vanity and evanescence" (translated by Professor Edward Seidensticker).
