Tanya was not a regular child. All she ever heard was the sound of shouting, hitting, screaming and crying alternating between hers and her mother’s at the hand of her mother’s violent boyfriend. The night before, all the undesirable sounds stopped as her mother pulled the trigger on him and then immediately pointed the nozzle into her own mouth shattering all the heartache she had to endure. It was a mother’s desperate move to get out of a bad situation. However, she failed to realize that it was also a highly selfish move leaving Tanya to fend for herself.

Alone and afraid, Tanya left the painful place and wondered on the street. She found a cozy alley behind the abandoned factory and made it her home for the night.
